You’ve got your dream design & it’s now down to the specifics. Sinks & Taps are pretty important…both practically & aesthetically.

Here are the options:

 

1) Belfast Sink…

There are generally two widths – for use with a 600mm wide unit and an 800mm wide unit.  They are recommended for use with either granite/quartz or solid timber.    They are for the traditional design and, bearing that in mind, you should consider a traditional/classical designed tap.

2) Inset Sinks

Generally for use with laminate worktops.  There are many options now available – in granite/ceramic/stainless steel.  Some designs are incredibly smart and are inset into the laminate worktop – see our picture below.

3) Undermount Sinks

The undermount sink is what you can expect with most granite/quartz worktops.  There are options of single bowl, bowl and a half or two bowls.  Widths vary and they are generally stainless steel.
