We often discuss modern kitchens with clients and they confess that they worry about modern being “cold”.

We are delighted to be able to share these pictures of a modern kitchen here in Carlow that shows how warm and funky a modern kitchen can be.  Our client came to us looking for a modern kitchen in a warm tone.  We worked up a design for the room – using a matt painted door.  This is a handleless kitchen – which is very much on-trend and desirable.  The kitchen is spacious and packed with practical storage space.  This design includes a chrome pantry press for food storage.  The kitchen has a square cornice and pelmet – which really finishes modern kitchens to good effect.

Our client really brightened up the kitchen with red colour accents – in the form of a beautiful corner couch in the adjoining family room and also with a glass backsplash at the hob.

The worktop in the kitchen is a light coloured quartz – its shine and brightness bounces light back into the room.  The quartz worktop is continued onto the hatch between the kitchen and family room and a further pop of colour has been injected into the space with a beautiful pair of purple stools.
